Open to currently serving sworn peace officers or retired members in Saskatchewan’s law enforcement community, as defined below:
Sworn Peace Officer:
An individual employed by a law enforcement agency and appointed as a peace officer, who have the power of arrest, as defined by the Criminal Code of Canada.
Retired Member:
An individual who served as a sworn peace officer, who retired in good standing from a law enforcement agency.
Out of Province Sworn Peace Officers:

Designated Law Enforcement Agency:
Any of the following: Canada Border Services Agency, Community Safety Officers, Indigenous Police Agency, Military Police, Municipal Police Agency, Provincial Sheriff Agency, Provincial Conservation Agency, Railway Police Agency, Regional Police Agency, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Provincial Highway Patrol, Provincial Emergency Communication Centre (and similar dispatch centres), Special Constables or any agency as approved by the Board.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
$20/year
Open to current civilian members or retired civilian members in Saskatchewan’s law enforcement community, as defined below.
And open to any person who is invested in law enforcement; who’s training, experience, or other professional attainments in law enforcement is considered in alignment with SWIP’s vision and mission.
Civilian Member:
An individual who is employed by a law enforcement agency, who is not a sworn peace officer; or an individual who is employed by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police as a Civilian Sworn Member, Public Service Employee or Municipal Service Employee.
Retired Civilian Member:
An individual who retired as a civilian member, in good standing, from a law enforcement agency; or an individual who retired as a Civilian Sworn Member, Public Service Employee or Municipal Employee, in good standing, from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Out of Province: Sworn or Civilian Members
